Department of MBA


The department of MBA was established in the year 2006 with an intake of 60. The Department has been playing a proactive role in shaping the emerging and dynamic corporate culture to our students. The department has steadily been in the pursuit of its objective of achieving exCellence in management education. The department is well equipped with good infrastructure and well qualified, experienced and dedicated faculty. The department lays special emphasis on management activities for all round development of student managers. The department ensures an effective academic industry interface by organizing periodic industry visits to facilitate practical orientation, student projects and placements.

Departmental programmes are very carefully designed to develop the students into global leaders who can create wealth for their organizations. At the same time we ensure that our students have an understanding and appreciation of Indian economic and societal realities. Above all we prepare them to be principled organizational managers and leaders with a caring attitude and ethical orientation, which, we think, is absolutely essential in the present business environment.

HOD Profile


Dr. Gopi Krishna Abbaraboina Head of the Department for MBA at Balaji Institute of Technology & Science – Narsampet (TS) Affiliated to JNT University of Hyderabad. He is a dedicated academician and researcher with over 17 years of rich experience in teaching, research, and academic administration. He is currently serving as the Head of the Department of MBA at Balaji Institute of Technology & Science (BITS), Laknepally and he holds a Ph.D. in Management on “Recruitment and selection processes in IT companies.” He has authored three academic books and published sixteen research papers, including articles in SCOPUS and UGC-CARE-listed journals. He has been instrumental in coordinating NAAC and NBA accreditation processes, organizing student-centric events, national conferences, and workshops.Dr. Gopi Krishna has also presented research at numerous national and international conferences and participated in over 19 faculty development programs, including a prestigious 35-day FDP at IIM Indore. With a passion for academic leadership, curriculum enhancement, and student development, Dr. Gopi Krishna continues to contribute significantly to the growth of management education.
