Department of Computer Science and Engineering


The Department of Computer Science and Engineering was established in 2002. The department offers a four year degree program in Computer Science and Engineering with an annual intake of 180 students. The department also offers two year M.Tech program in Computer Science Engineering with an annual intake of 30 students. The Department of Computer Science Engineering is to produce and disseminate theory, principles, practice and know-how of computing in the information age, for the critical analysis, design, evaluation, and Improvement of computing systems in tune with the needs and demands of changing times. It is our objective to prepare our students to be successful in computer engineering practice and to be able to pursue advanced studies in Computer science, on a competitive universal basis. The mission is a culmination of our effort to meet the mission of BALAJI INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY & SCIENCE Engineering and the department's overall objective.

HOD Profile


Mr. Fasi Ahmed Parvez is working as Associate Professor from May 2006 and Head of the Department of Computer Science & Engineering from April 2015 onwards. He received his M.Tech Degree in CSE from JNTUH and submitted his Ph.D. thesis in the stream of Data Mining from MUIT . He has 20 Years of teaching experience and proved his expertise in various internal and external commitments. His exemplary teaching includes subjects like Data Mining, DBMS, C, C++,Data structure and Java. He has published more than 30 Research Articles in National / International Journals and Conferences in Computer Science & Engineering. He authored 2 books "A simple Programming Approach-C" and "Data Structures using C". He was the life Lifetime Membership in ISTE, CSI, and IAENG.

Dr. Bandi Krishna Working as an Associate Professor, and HoD at Balaji Institute of Technology and Science, Narsampet. He had total 16 years of experience in teaching field. He received Ph.D. from Osmania University, done his research in the field of Web Mining. Till now he published around 12 papers in various International Journals and International Conferences. He published 5 patents and 2 books and 2 book chapters. He has received 3 awards and qualified NET. His area of research interest is Web mining, Text Mining, Machine Learning, Data Science, Internet of Things and Artificial Intelligence.
