A separate Training and Placement Cell has been established with the following objectives:

To see that maximum number of students is placed in selective industries

To arrange for technical visits & training to the industrial sites both for students & staff

To arrange for the campus interviews for the final year students

To arrange for the campus interviews for the final year students.

To arrange for coaching for GATE, GRE and other competitive examination for third year and Final year students

To arrange training sessions for the students regarding employability skills – Technical and soft skills.

The Training and Placement Cell at BITS provides personal and career oriented support to its students. The main aim of this Cell is to create career opportunities for promising BITS students in reputed companies to meet the aspirations of all stake holders.

BITS Placement Cell had its humble beginning in the year 2004 and grown from strength to strength. At present it has an exclusive infrastructure facility and consists of Seminar halls. Interview rooms, 30MBPS speed internet facility to conduct various online examinations, exclusive rooms for Group Discussions and other placement related issues.

The main motive is to enable the students to cope with academics at college and to have successful careers after Engineering graduation. Apart from course Curriculum, college provides extensive training programs of about 120 hours to prepare the students for the placement drives. The college invites special trainers to complete this training schedule. The effectiveness of this training is evident in the recently concluded season (2016 Pass out batch) Where 150 students have received company offer letters.

A large numbers of students from our institution got admissions into prestigious universities in India and overseas for higher studies. Major corporate both from IT and Core sector visit our campus and recruit young talent from our college.

To plan and initiate Campus Recruitment Training programs on personality development, Aptitude, logical, verbal, Reasoning and Communication skills to enhance the employment opportunities for fresh engineering graduates

Issuing circulars to all concerned departments to notify campus placements
